Mr. Weerasinghe is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. He has obtained the Accountancy & Financial Management Degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and completed his MBA from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (FCMA), a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA UK), a Member of the Institute of Public Accountants of Australia (MIPA Aus) and a Member of the Professional Managers’ Association (MCPM).

Dr. Godage’s career highlights include a distinguished tenure at Sampath Bank PLC, where he gained extensive expertise in banking services, and an impactful role as Executive Director and Deputy Chief Executive at Kanrich Finance Limited, where he successfully led strategic initiatives to significantly enhance organizational performance.

As a results-oriented leader, Dr. Godage excels in strategic growth, operational efficiency, risk management, and cost optimization. He recently earned a Doctorate (PhD) in Business Management from the University for International Education, Research, and Higher Education Professional Center in Mumbai, India. He also holds an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK.

Dr. Godage is a Certified Management Accountant (Australia) and a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. He is also a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka and the Institute of Professional Financial Managers, UK. In addition, he is a member of the Chartered Management Institute (UK), the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and the Institute of Management of Sri Lanka.
